No shortage of impressive work at annual Annapolis Valley Decorative Artists Art and Gift Sale in Greenwich

GREENWICH, NS - If you wanted one word to describe the quality of the work showcased at the Annapolis Valley Decorative Artists (A.V.D.A.) annual Art and Gift Sale, perhaps “impressive” would fit the bill.

The painting guild hosted the sale at the Greenwich Fire Hall on Nov. 2 and 3, featuring Christmas tree ornaments, wall art, paintings, furniture, metal art, pickles, carvings and more. There was a quilt draw and visitors had the opportunity to create a piece of art. The two projects offered this year were a wintery owl painting and a fall leaf painting. A variety of desserts, tea and coffee was served on Nov. 3, which was included in the $3 door fee. There were also door prizes awarded throughout the day.
