Man of no fixed address facing child porn, luring charges in Windsor released

WINDSOR, NS - A man of no fixed address charged with possession of child pornography and luring a child for a sexual purpose has been released from custody on a recognizance.

Nathan Dale Flowers, 26, was present in Windsor provincial court in custody on Sept. 26. He consented to being remanded in custody until Sept. 27 for a bail hearing.

The court granted Flowers’ release on a recognizance on Sept. 27. The accused had to put up $1,000 cash and a surety put up $1,000 non-cash bail. The matters have been adjourned to Oct. 24 for election and plea. A publication ban has been imposed.

Flowers is accused of possessing child pornography, various images depicting young children engaged in sexual activity, and of luring a child by telecommunication for a sexual purpose, knowing that she was under the age of 16. It’s alleged that the offences were committed in Windsor on Sept. 23. The charges have not been proven in court.
