Dr. Ronald Matsusaki responds to closure of his thyroid clinic
DIGBY, NS – The Thyroid Clinic in Digby was closed June 6 by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and its doctor, Ronald Matsusaki, has been accused of unauthorized medical research.

UPPER FALMOUTH, N.S. – A missing Sackville woman with connections to Hants County has been found dead in Upper Falmouth.
Elizabeth Smith, 51, was reported missing on July 5. She was last seen leaving her residence that morning.
She was found at 12:40 p.m. on July 6 in the Upper Falmouth area, RCMP said in a press release.
Foul play is not suspected, police said.
The medical examiner will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
According to a press release, an Air Services helicopter was used during the search.
The RCMP thanked the public for their assistance with the search, adding that their thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
