Walk-in x-ray services temporarily unavailable in Berwick, Annapolis Royal

Walk-in diagnostic imaging and x-ray services at two health centres in the Annapolis Valley will close Friday, March 17 and won’t reopen until Monday.

Western Kings Memorial Health Centre in Berwick and Annapolis Community Health Centre in Annapolis Royal will be affected. Both services will reopen on Monday, March 20 at 8 a.m. for walk-in service, said Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Those experiencing a medical emergency should call 911, the health authority said in a media release. General health concerns can also be directed to HealthLink 811 where advice and information are available around the clock by simply dialing 811.
