One-day course on trauma to be offered in Annapolis Royal

ANNAPOLIS ROYAL NS - Toronto clinical psychologist Dr. Lori Haskell is coming to Annapolis Royal to teach a one-day course April 24 on the effects of trauma on the brain.

Haskell has educated lawyers, judges, police officers, nurses, service providers and community groups, as well as psychologists.
Assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, she is also an academic research associate with the Centre for Research on Violence Against Women and Children.
Haskell has been invited to the Valley by the Women’s Place Resource Centre in Annapolis Royal. Seats are limited.
Her presentation will take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Annapolis Royal Legion on Victoria St. The deadline to register is April 14.
