VIDEO: Skateboarding in Middleton

Skateboarding has come to Middleton Regional High School. A certified instructor shows the kids how its done every Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

After school program at MRHS draws enthusiastic crowd

About a dozen youngsters showed up for the third week of an after school skateboarding program at Middleton Regional High School Wednesday afternoon. Program organizer Brook Southcote said the learn-to-skateboard program is just one of several at the school.

She brought in certified skateboard instructor Evan Banks who is teaching the kids for one hour a week in the school's cafeteria.

The program goes to the end of March and a new slate of physical activity programs will begin in April.
