The fun and excitement will be getting underway early this year at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown. Although the exhibition doesn’t officially get underway until Monday, Aug. 16, the action will be fast and furious when MainStream Wrestling Entertainment (MSW) makes its debut at the exhibition grounds with an outdoor spectacular on Saturday evening, Aug. 14. There is a special 6 p.m. start time and admission is payable at the gate.

MSW owner and promoter Devin Chittick, a.k.a. wrestler “X-Ray” Kyle Kruze, the six-time and current reigning and defending Atlantic Canadian Champion, says he’s excited to be debuting his show at a new venue.

“It’s always great to go into a new area and make an impression on a large audience that might be seeing us for the first time,” he said. “It’s a chance to meet new people and develop new fans, so it’s very exciting.”

Although no specific matches had been signed at the time of the interview, Chittick said fans would be treated to bouts featuring the likes of international wrestling superstar “Kowboy” Mike Hughes, a long-time Maritime main-eventer who has performed for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the past. Hughes is also a national TV star on The Fight Network’s Wrestling Reality and RUSH HD’s Kardinal Sinners and is a former MSW Champion.

The show will also feature Lincoln Steen, a two-time holder of the MSW Championship and a national TV star on Wrestling Reality in his own right. Steen is also a former Canadian Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Kruze will be in action, defending his MSW Atlantic Canadian championship. Although his opponent wasn’t yet named, Kruze said he’s certain it will be a formidable contender. However, “A mafia kick is definitely in the works for some poor soul.”

Up-and-coming Maritime wrestling stars Chris Cooke and Riddick Stone will be in action, along with many more. Long-time ring announcer “Captain” Kirk is scheduled to host the show.
