Middleton Irving station robbed

The Annapolis RCMP received 66 calls from December10 through December 16. Among these were: four false 911s; two false alarms; four traffic accidents, three road checks; and two domestic assaults.

Following are a few of these calls:

-- December 10 at 9:06 a.m. Middleton. Police were called to investigate a theft of gas from the Petro Canada station.

-- December 10 at 10:56 a.m. Middleton. A wallet was reported lost.

-- December 10 at 10:56 a.m. Bridgetown. Police were called to Jubilee Park after a black car was seen spinning its wheels in the parking lot. No license number was obtained.

-- December 10 at 12:45 a.m. Middleton. A student placed a false 911 call from the high school. Police are following up.

-- December 10 at 3:02 p.m. Wilmot. A lock to a shed was broken overnight but nothing was stolen.

-- December 11 at 9:40 a.m. Clementsvale. Police were called to investigate a matter involving the erection of a fence on a boundary line.

-- December 11 at 10:00 a.m. Middleton. Police were called to investigate a possible breach of a court order between two individuals.

-- December 11 at 11:31 a.m. Middleton. A citizen turned in a firearm for destruction.

-- December 12 at 6:10 a.m. Bear River. Police were called to an incident concerning a tree that had fallen onto a power pole.

-- December 12 at 3:35 p.m. Bridgetown. Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the Esso parking lot.

-- December 12 at 4:34 p.m. Bear River. Police were called concerning a dog that may have been obtained fraudulently.

-- December 12 at 4:49 p.m. Wilmot. Two horses were reported to be running loose on Dodge Road.

-- December 12 at 10:39 p.m. Nictaux. A suspicious vehicle was reported seen behind a local residence. Police checked it out, but no vehicle was found.

-- December 13 at 7 a.m. Bellisle. Police were called about a deer that was on the ground and could be injured. Police notified DNR.

-- December 13 at 7:41 A.M. Beaconsfield. Police were called about phone calls being interpreted as harassment between individuals. Police followed up and the matter was resolved.

-- December 13 at 12:05 p.m. Middleton. A resident reported unwanted text messages from an individual. Police provided information on how to deal with it through court process.

-- December 13 at 1:44 p.m. Wilmot. Police stopped a vehicle that was not insured. The investigation also revealed stolen property. Police are following up with charges.

-- December 13 at 1:44 p.m. Hwy 101 at Lequille. Police received a report of a dangerous driver passing on a curve. Police have a license number and are looking into it.

-- December 13 at 1:53 p.m. Middleton. Police were notified of persons going around collecting donations. The persons were checked out and nothing illegitimate was found about their actions.

-- December 13 at 2:43 p.m. Upper Granville. The police and fire department were called to a partially inflated dinghy in the river. Police are working at finding out who owns the dinghy.

-- December 13 at 6:02 p.m. Bridgetown. A pedestrian reported almost being struck by a van while in a crosswalk. The individual wasn’t able to get all the license plate number.

-- December 14 at midnight. Middleton. Harassing phone calls were reported. Police followed up and hopefully it’s resolved.

-- December 15 at 6:58 a.m. Middleton. Police are investigating an overnight break and enter to the Irving Station on Main Street. 

-- December 15 at 2:51 p.m. Margaretsville. A suspicious vehicle was reported seen parked on a side road for several hours. The person was there legitimately.

-- December 15 at 5:07 p.m. Moschelle. A disturbance was reported at a residence. It turned out to be nothing serious and the situation was settled down.

-- December 15 at 9:05 p.m. Nictaux. Police were called about an overdue person. The person was found safe, just late arriving.

-- December 15 at 9:03 p.m. Bridgetown. Police were called to the Esso. Two males were stranded with no money. Police took them to their destination.

-- December 16 at 12:13 a.m. Bridgetown. Police received a report of people playing late night basketball. The game was over when police attended to check it out.

-- December 16 at 1:06 a.m. Brooklyn. A suspicious vehicle was seen driving around a business. Police checked the area. The vehicle was gone and no problems found.

-- December 16 at 9:57 a.m. Wilmot. Damage to a fence around a pool at a residence was reported.

-- December 16 at 2:40 p.m. Bridgetown. A found wallet was turned into police.
