People gathered in the streets in front of the Royal Canadian Legion for the annual service of Remembrance on November 11.

The colour party opened the ceremony, with the Bridgetown Regional High School band leading with the national anthem. Jonathan Bent, bugler, also from Bridgetown Regional High, played The Last Post, followed by Piper Andy Kerr.

After the two-minute silence, representatives from government, local businesses, and family members laid wreaths around the cenotaph in honour of those who gave their lives in the wars. Cathy Batson, chaplain Branch 33 delivered the benediction.
