Four Annapolis County residents were among seven people arrested in a September 19 methamphetamine bust conducted by the RCMP Drug Units in Halifax and Yarmouth, and the Synthetic Drug Unit. They were assisted by RCMP members in Kingston and Bridgetown.
On the evening of September 19, RCMP arrested five men and two women and seized approximately $12,000 in cash and 8,000 tabs of methamphetamine. Three Search Warrants were executed at three residences, two in West Dalhousie and one in Wilmot. The investigation has determined that the drugs were coming from Quebec and destined to be sold within Nova Scotia.
The following individuals have all been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Methamphetamine:
Andre (Andy) Laviolette, 53-years-old, West Dalhousie, Annapolis County
William Weasel, 64-years-old, Bridgetown, Annapolis County
Sean Cluett, 42-years-old, Wilmot, Annapolis County
Christopher Lutz, 38-years-old, Meadowville, Annapolis County
Angela Clow, 36-years-old, Kingston, Kings County
Martin Belaval, 39-years-old, St. Jean Sur Richilieu, Quebec
Silvie Vienneau, 34-years-old, St. Jean Sur Richilieu, Quebec
All seven were released from custody with conditions and are scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on January 7, 2013.
