The Annapolis RCMP received 91 calls from June 11 through June 18. Thefts, property damage, threats via texting were recurring themes, and a man was airlifted to hospital in Halifax after a serious single-car crash on Brooklyn Road. Among the week’s work for the RCMP were: eight false 911s, two false alarms, 15 traffic matters, and seven domestic incidents.
Following are a few of those calls:

-- June 11 at 10:56 a.m. Nictaux. Annapolis RCMP were are called after a storage facility was broken into and old batteries, a radiator, and old wiring was stolen.
-- June 11 at 5:49 p.m. Clementsport. A threat received via text messaging was reported. A male youth was arrested later, for threats and being in possession of stolen property. The youth was remanded into custody and attended court. Police recovered a firearm that was stolen from a truck parked in Bear River a few weeks ago.
-- June 12 at 11:50 a.m. Wilmot. A sign was reported stolen from a Canada Post delivery vehicle.
-- June 12 at 4:25 p.m. Prince Albert. A break and enter was reported after a chainsaw was stolen from a garage.
-- June 12 at 5:18 p.m. Bridgetown. A gas-and-go was reported in Bridgetown.
-- June 13 at 9:51 a.m. Paradise. A fraud involving a foreign gold scheme was reported.
-- June 13 at 9:54 a.m. Graywood. Property damage was reported at Mickey Hill after it was discovered that someone damaged the outhouses.
-- June 14 at 8 a.m. South Farmington. Threats via text messaging were reported.
-- June 14 at 6:34 p.m. Spa Springs. An abandoned motorcycle was reported, the vehicle was towed.
-- June 15 at 6 a.m. Inglisville. Police were asked to interview a witness to an accident on behalf of Halifax police.
-- June 15 at 10:12 a.m. Wilmot. A portable radio was reported stolen.
-- June 15 at 11:24 a.m. Lawrencetown. Halifax police asked RCMP to execute an arrest warrant.
-- June 15 at 10:18 p.m. Bridgetown. A patrol was made in response to a report of a disturbance.
-- June 16 at 4:50 p.m. Middleton. A theft was reported after two doors were stolen from a vehicle.
-- June 16 at 7:48 p.m. Middleton. Police were called to a single-vehicle accident on Brooklyn Road after a driver failed to negotiate a turn and lost control. The driver was ejected and was airlifted to Halifax with serious injuries. The matter is under investigation.
-- June 17 at 12:31 p.m. Bridgetown. A complaint of property damage was reported after a vehicle window was smashed.
-- June 17 at 2:56 p.m. Upper Clements. Police were notified of suspicious activity after a couple was seen intimately engaged in a vehicle.
-- June 17 at 5:33 p.m. Bridgetown. A male was arrested for public intoxication. He was lodged in cells and later released with charges pending.
-- June 18 at 8:18 a.m. Middleton. A bicycle was stolen overnight and an older one left in its place.
