Bridgetown RCMP have charged two Annapolis County men for possession of stolen firearms.
On Sunday morning, June 16, Bridgetown RCMP, with assistance from the Annapolis County Street Crime Enforcement Unit and Kingston RCMP, executed two search warrants at residences located in Granville Ferry and Cornwallis Park.
Four stolen firearms and miscellaneous property that were stolen during two break and enters in Annapolis County in May were recovered during the searches.
A 45-year-old Cornwallis Park man and a 23-year-old Granville Ferry man are facing possession of stolen property and firearms-related offences. Both men have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on September 10.
Police said they would like to remind people to lock their doors and windows when they leave their residence and to keep their firearms secured at all times.
