A 25-year-old Lequille man who failed to appear in court January 9 was taken into custody by police and was to appear in Digby provincial court this morning.

Annapolis RCMP, assisted by members of the Annapolis Royal Police Department, executed an arrest warrant for Keith Daniels at about 6 p.m. Wednesday. They took him to holding cells in Digby. Annapolis Royal provincial court had issued the warrant after Daniels failed to appear.

At the Digby court house Daniels was to be arraigned for being unlawfully at large. Outstanding charges against Daniels include three counts of theft under $5,000, three counts of break and enter, three counts of possession of stolen property, one count of mischief, and two counts of failure to appear in court.

All property crime offences involve incidents that have occurred in the Lequille area and those charges are presently before the court.
