The Wild ‘n’ Woolie Sheep Rodeo has always been a top attraction at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown, and this year has been no exception. The stands were packed as youngsters tried their skill at riding a sheep for as long as they could stay on its back. The first contest took place Wednesday evening and the event will be repeated August 20 at 7:30 p.m., August 21 at 7 p.m., and concludes August 22 at 2:30 p.m.
New this year were Kids’ Chuck Wagon Races in which youngsters pulled a covered wagon around a course in the Main Ring Wednesday evening after the sheep rodeo.
