Museum Hours
Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 4:30 p.m. until September 30. Permanent exhibits include the Nova Scotia Museum's antique clock and watch collection, a Rusty Nail exhibit, a recreated classroom and general store, a natural history exhibit, and a genealogy library (call for library hours). Temporary exhibits now showing are: "Valley of the Dolls" and "Horsing Around" featuring all things equestrian. Admission charged. Yoga Fundraiser

Childbirth & Depression
October 1 to December 17 The No. 1 complication of childbirth is depression. Family Matters is partnering with Annapolis Valley Health to offer a 10-week facilitated session for women who are experiencing or are at risk of post partum depression. Horsing Around Exhibit

Family Heirlooms
Until September 15 Annette Cerchie from Granville Ferry is displaying 30 pieces of rug hooking at ARCAC St. George St., Annapolis Royal. Her personal works include 13 Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass windows and 17 framed hooked pieces on burlap. Reception will be held August 26from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

HART Fundraiser
September 15 Annual Golf Tournament for HART at 9:30 a.m. at Berwick Heights. Cost is $80 per person or $300 per team of four which includes a stuffed chicken breast meal.
