From pancakes with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, and a bike rodeo, to crafts, cookie decorating, and a wee folk faerie exhibit, there was lots of Easter fun in Annapolis Royal Saturday.
Scores of youngsters turned out for the morning Easter egg hunt at Fort Anne, and none went away disappointed as baskets were overflowing with seasonal goodies. In the afternoon, many of the area’s older kids took part in The Annapolis Royal Really Amazing Race which had an Alice in Wonderland theme and contestants started by going down ‘the rabbit hole’ and then found keys to get through various doors before heading out of Historic Gardens to search for items around town.
There was also a geo-quest at The Gardens. Later kids who had collected colourful eggs at Fort Anne got to trade them in for a ballot on a new bicycle.
The weather cooperated and the town was packed for the annual Eggstravaganza spearheaded by Paula Buxton.
