Last Hampton Market

Tremont Fair

Museum Celebrations

September 6 Labour Day Celebrations at the Mount Hanley Schoolhouse Museum. Experience school life as it was during the 1850s era. Fun, educational activities for young and old alike. Fancy cake to be served. Museum open from 1 to 4 p.m.

 

Scrabble Club

September 7 Starting play for the year at 6:30 p.m. at the Rosa Harvey Library, Middleton. Players of all ages, experience and level are welcome. Tea & Skit

September 10 O'Dell House Museum, 136 St. George Street, Annapolis Royal, will host a tea and a skit of Sir William Alexander as part of the Annapolis Royal 300th Anniversary, 2 to 4 p.m.

 

Fort Anne Fun

September 10 Become a Knight of Fort Anne and reconnect with the Nova Scotia Charter, held for all Nova Scotians in the Fort Anne Officers' Quarters, 1 to 4 p.m.

 

Golf Fundraiser

September 10 Support the Annapolis Valley Special Olympics by entering their annual golf tournament at Eden Golf Club, Paradise. Shotgun start at 10 a.m. Entry fee is $200 per team (includes a meal). Supper in Paradise

September 10 Paradise United Baptist Church 200th Anniversary  Potluck Supper at 6 p.m., provided by members of the Church at the Paradise United Baptist Church. Music & Memories Celebration starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Church.

 

Fall Fun Day

September 11 At the Inglisville Community Hall, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will include a numbered auction, flea market, BBQ, games for children and Jam session at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome. Proceeds for the Hall.

 

Family Fun Day

September 11 From 4 to 6 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Centre on the corner of Dodge Road and Highway One in Wilmot. Lots of games, fun, and barbecue. Rain or shine. New Playgroup in Cornwallis

September 16 From 9:30 to 11 a.m.  The Annapolis County Family Resource Centre hosting a new playgroup in Cornwallis. 4-H Walk-a-thon

September 19 4-H clubs in Annapolis County will walk in Annapolis Royal, Bridgetown, Lawrencetown and Middleton, all starting at 2pm, rain or shine. This fund raiser is for the Annapolis County 4-H Leaders' Council to support the ongoing 4-H programs. Members have sponsor sheets, and donations will be accepted during the walk.

 

Silent Auction

September 17, 18 Bridgetown and Area Friends of the Library is sponsoring a Ciderfest Silent Auction at the James House on Friday (4 to 10 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m). Bid on 25 quality crafts and services on display in the window of Thoughtful Crafts and Flowers. Proceeds go to the New Library Building Fund.

Car wash

September 18 The Middleton Baptist Church Youth Group is having a car wash at the Middleton Needs parking lot, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is a free will donation. Proceeds for upcoming youth events.

 

Afghan Raffle

September 18 Members of Bridgetown and Area Friends  of the Library are selling tickets on a handmade afghan ($2 each, three for $5). Tickets are also available at

Endless Shores. The draw will be held in the James House  at the end of the Silent Auction on Saturday at 6 p.m. Proceeds go to the New Library Building Fund.

 

Hymn Sing

September 19 Paradise United Baptist Church 200th Anniversary - Hymn Sing and Special Music at the West Paradise "Evergreen" United Baptist Church at 7:00 pm.
