I am soliciting your support for what would be my third term on Annapolis Royal Town Council.

Born and educated in Annapolis Royal, I retired here in 1993 following employment with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where I served as an electronics technician, TV technical supervisor and, during the last half of my 36 year career, as manager of physical plant operations for the Maritime Region.

I am now completing my second term as Councillor, including two years as Deputy Mayor.  During these eight years I have been ever mindful of the fact that I am not only a Councillor, but also a taxpayer and I have never been afraid to speak up against any proposal  which I considered to not be in the best interests of the residents of Annapolis Royal.

My priorities are police and fire protection, clean safe drinking water, sanitation and the maintenance of the Town’s basic infrastructure.  As we face the continuing challenges of reduced revenues and the continual downloading of  services from other levels of government, I will, if elected’ continue to adhere to these priorities while ensuring our citizens are receiving maximum value from their tax dollars.

I'm looking for a friend I was in the US Navy with. We served on the USS Blue Ridge, LCC19 in 1976. I was wondering if you are him?
