A Middleton-based business is hoping to expand in the business park.
Kevin Feiner, owner of K&J Truck Center, said his company is now so busy they’re turning customers away. Feiner discussed his intention of making an offer on a commercial lot in the Middleton Business Park during last regular town meeting held on May 7.
“We’re turning away work that could be done here,” said Feiner. “I’m sending stuff to New Minas that could be done here, but I don’t have the room.”
He added that he expects that the business will continue to grow, and has the potential to provide more jobs in the future. If the land sale goes ahead as discussed, Feiner plans to buy the 2.48-acre lot for approximately $11,000.
He said he would like to begin construction sometime during 2008-2009, and have the building ready to move in when his current lease expires.
