Yesterday (May 20, 2009) CFB Greenwood celebrated two anniversaries of Canadian flight: the 100th anniversary of powered flight in Canada and the 85th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

These milestones of Canadian aviation were marked by a day of family activities culminating in an airshow by the Canada's own Snowbirds and the "Centennial Hornet" CF-18 out of CFB Cold Lake (Alberta).

Queen Annapolisa and her retinue of Apple Blossom Princesses were all on hand, as the the event was also part of the 2009 Apple Blossom Festival's pre-festival programming.
